Ana Kristina Gasteyer - American comedian, actor and singer is a comic. Most notable is her tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. Since then, she's been featured in sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and in the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her career in the university of Northwestern University she initially enrolled as a voice major however she later decided to pursue theater studies when she started to join the improv comedy club on campus. Her enthusiasm for comedy influenced her through various roles, such as her overly controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory or the odd Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite.
