Flanagan was an editor for The Keith Olbermann Evening News. Flanagan worked at ESPN between 2000 and 2006. She was a college football reporter for ESPN sidelines from 2000 until 2006. She worked as a reporter on the sidelines of the College World Series and Women's Tennis Association's championships.
